		<description><![CDATA[I agree with the cuts for preschoolers.
Did not have preschool in the old days and kids grew up just as smart.If parents are that concerned with their childs learning at 3-4 years old then spend more quality and learning time with your kids. But the cut is discrimminating and  should not discrimminate just the low income.
It should include all 3-4 year olds.If she is talking across the board then make it across the board and fair to all. Are we not all one nation.

I totally agree that its outrageous for the governor to even propose such a budget -- regardless of how much it &quot;pains&quot; her. The only solution to preserving education and essential services such as Basic Health is to institute a steeply graduated state income tax on the wealth and corporate profits. This is what Sisters Organize for Survival, a campaign of Radical Women, is calling on the legislature to do. Petitions to support this campaign can be downloaded at www.SaveBasicHealth.org.
